Mark and I spent a wonderful weekend celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary! The weekend started out on Friday afternoon when the kid's left to head up north to the cabin with Papa and Napa (THANKS AGAIN, DAD & MOM!). We then proceeded to our stay at the Radisson Hotel in Bloomington by the Mall of America for our romance package. Our romance package included, dinner for two at the Split Rock Grille, champagne with chocolate covered strawberries, two 30 minute massages at the Trillium Spa and an overnight stay in a suite. We had a delicious dinner at the Split Rock Grille while we enjoyed the late summer evening on their outdoor patio. We then shuttled over to the MOA to walk off our meals and catch a flick at the theatre. We enjoyed watching the movie, The Time Traveler's Wife, while lounging back in the comfortable chairs of the MOA theatre. It was a perfect movie to go along with our "romance weekend" (it was so touching that Mark even stayed awake for the entire movie!). We headed back to the MOA on Saturday for some shopping and lunch, but not before taking pleasure in our deep tissue massage. Wow, was that truly relaxing! We enjoyed a great lunch at The Cantina, since our favorite food is mexican, and then spent the afternoon shopping and hanging out together. We ended our fabulous day with a cruise in the 1969 Camaro to Anoka's saturday evening car show...what a LOVEly weekend!
