A is for Apple

I had the wonderful opportunity to join Caden and his class of kindergartners for their fall field trip today. We enjoyed a rain free time at Afton's Apple Orchard, even though it was a little brisk outside. We learned some new and exciting things about apples and how they are grown in orchards!

We started out our apple adventure with a hayride around the orchard to pick apples and a pumpkin. We then headed over for our picnic lunch and sampling of fresh made apple cider at the playground/eating area.

Caden searching for the perfect apple...

We ended our fall festivities with some free play around the playground and haystack. Caden was so excited to see his buddy, Riley, and spend the remaining time with his best friend.

Fall Fun

We enjoyed a fall afternoon outside at our local pumpkin farm. We had the pleasure of accompanying the Rosar's (Spencer's friends, Braiden), Alexis and of course, Lucy. We had a fun time participating in many pumpkin activities, such as painting pumpkins, pumpkin bowling, watching 'It's a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown' and partaking in some great photo opportunities....

Doggone Adorable

We had a fun and exciting past week dogsitting Miss Lucy at our house! She was such a joy to have around...we loved taking her for walks, playing ball, cuddling with her and enjoying her companionship. She is such a lovable, easy-going dog...thanks for sharing her with us, Barta's!

She LOVED being outdoors and running with the kid's!

We look forward to having you again, Miss Lucy,
you are always WELCOME at our home anytime...

Frankenstein's Ball

We attended our first Frankenstein's Ball Car Show today at the Anoka County Fairgrounds! The kid's had a spooktacular time dressed in their costumes trick-or-treating from car to car, partaking in the coloring contest and costume contest. Calli even made it into the final rounds of the children's costume contest as Raggedy Ann, but the Baby Dinosaur came out first (you looked so adorable Calli). We enjoyed the usual car show activities, but with a little twist on Halloween. It was a howling good time and the perfect fall weather added to it's festivity.

Our cute Raggedy Ann and Clown with our 1969 Chevy Camaro.
