Monster Jam 2009

We are all a little tired today........we spent the afternoon and evening free wheelin' with the monster trucks at the Metrodome downtown. We started out the afternoon at the Monster Jam Pit Party. It was absolutely incredible to see the size of these trucks. From a distance in the Metrodome they can look like toy monster trucks (as you can see from my pictures). We then headed to enjoy some appetizers at the Old Spaghetti Factory...along with every other Monster Jam fan. There was an hour and half wait, so we feasted on garlic cheese bread, meat ravioli and garlic fries in the bar area (with NO wait :). The entertainment started promptly at 7:30 p.m. with races between the 14 monster trucks (competing by 2's). The spectacular show ended a bit after 10 p.m., and downtown was a crazy mess after the show let out! But...it was all worth it to see the kid's faces light up with the excitement of BIG racing, BIG jumping, BIG freestylin' and BIG motor revving. What an EXPERIENCE..... thanks for coming along for the thrills Papa, Nana and the Barta's!

Looks like you had lots of fun too! Love the song you picked! "Bad to the Bone"

The song has become Caden's favorite since it is the song played when Grave Digger is out...it is catchy!
