This year's Spring Break was a little different for us...
we stayed in Minnesota and had a lot of FUN!
This is what the week brought for us...
We started out on Sunday with Caden's BMX race...
This was his first race as an intermediate racer and he did a fabulous job! He place 3rd and was able to celebrate his victory with his friend, Luke, who also took 3rd. We are so excited that Luke has joined the "BMX family" and we are looking forward to celebrating many more victories together!
With the warm up in weather, the track parking lot has become a mud haven! Mark pulled out 3 vehicles after the race...that brought back memories of his youth (4x4 truck mudding)!
We were so elated to have Lucy with us this week while the Barta Family were on vacation. She is always such a JOY to have and we really ENJOY her company...
She just is so dog gone CUTE!!!
Midweek brought about some family fun in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We joined the Haller Family at the Metropolis Resort for a couple of days to enjoy the Chaos Waterpark and Action City Fun Center. We had a blast enjoying the water, games, bumper cars, go karts and family time!
This is DEFINITELY a place we will travel to again!
We finished this fun week at the MOA to hang out and do some shopping and rides. The kid's each visited their favorites stores and rode their most favorite rides...
I even got talked into a ride...the Fairly Odd Coaster!
Whoa, was that a mistake! Didn't think I was going to keep my lunch down...
Again...the things you do for your children!
We had 1 more adventure on our agenda that did not work out...The Depot indoor ice skating rink! We received a family gift certificate to The Depot downtown this past Christmas from our friends, Charlie and Genenvieve, and thought this would be a great opportunity to use it. However, by family vote, we stayed home and spent the day with our house guest, Lucy! After all, she was leaving soon and we did not want to waste a final minute with her...
