We were SO very lucky to accompany my Mom this evening to our very first Twins game in the new Target Field! We were even more fortunate to view the game from the 4th row 3rd baseline, thanks to her awesome connection through work!!! It was an amazing time spent with just the 4 of us and we were so spoiled by the spectacular view of Joe Mauer, oops, I meant Twins.
We enjoyed the traditional ball field food...hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, cotton candy and peanuts. We even overindulged in the tasty food/treats via our own private lounge/eatery just for box seat ticket holders. We felt like King and Queens...
What a magnificent new stadium...the scenery and cityscape of downtown Minneapolis is incredible. We also witnessed several large jets that flew overhead during the game.
Our favorite Twins player is Joe Mauer. We purchased our first Twins t-shirts at the stadium and supported our local hero...
After a 4-hour stretch, unfortunately, the Twins lost to the Cleveland Indians 10-4.
We still enjoyed cheering on our Minnesota Twins and will forever hold these memories of attending a first season ball game in the new stadium.
What a marvelous evening to watch baseball outside and enjoy some family time with Jo Jo. Thanks again, Jo Jo, for taking us and helping us to fulfill one of our summer bucket list activities. This is truly a moment that captures one of my favorite sayings...
