Just the Two of Us...

Mark and I slipped away this weekend, just the two of us!
We had a relaxing weekend filled with lots of love, laughs, conversation and companionship.

We started our get-away on Friday with a live performance, by the our favorite comedian, Larry the Cable Guy at the Grand Casino in Hinckley. We enjoyed a wonderful evening outside in the amphitheatre listening to the wise cracking, Get-'R-Done, roley poley goofball...

On Saturday, we headed east to the State Croix State Park. We enjoyed this park last year while camping with the kids, and wanted to return for a bike ride through its gorgeous landscape...
There were so many beautiful wild flowers in bloom along the trails...

The ever winding St. Croix River...very high in volume and whisking by rapidly...

We topped of our weekend by stopping for lunch at the Wild Waters in Danbury, Wisconsin for some good old fashioned hamburgers and onion rings. We held one of their winning tickets in their afternoon Meat Raffle with a hot dog/bratwurst party pack (48 to be exact)!

Thanks for a superb weekend, Mark, it is so exhilitaring to know that we have "IT" after all these years...I LOVE YOU!

A Family Is Forever
